Coming Soon | Mexico on Film
My films from my Mexico travels are finally back from my favourite lab over in Hollywood! It feels a little like Christmas at my house this evening, excitedly downloading all of the negatives. I’ll write a full post soon, but here’s a sneak preview of what’s to come. For the photographers amongst you: all shot on film with a mixture of 35mm and 120 Medium Format, on Fuji Pro 400H.

Day 2 – Jose Villa Wedding Photography Workshop in Mexico
Again after a morning filled with classroom lessons, we headed out into the afternoon sun to photograph our two lovely couples, this time in *the* most beautiful Claire Pettibone wedding dresses. If only Britain had light like this to photograph my lovely clients in, together with donkeys passing by…….

Day 1 – Jose Villa Wedding Photography Workshop in Mexico
After a full morning in the beautiful hacienda barn we came to call our classroom, each afternoon we got to take our cameras out into the Mexican sunshine for some practical assignments. Today’s; each photographer had three minutes each with two gorgeous couples to take off into the hacienda grounds and photograph as we’d choose. Most of my work for the week was shot on film, but here’s a selection of what I shot on digital:

Welcome Dinner – Jose Villa Wedding Photography Workshop in Mexico
Once all of the photographers and Jose Villa’s dream team had flown into Guadalajara on Sunday evening and settled in, we all sat down together for a wonderful welcome dinner at the hacienda. With good food, copious cocktails, a mariachi band, dancers and the best company, everyone got excited for what lay ahead for the start of the workshop:
